What we're up to
We thought we'd let you know what we're up to and our upcoming public appearances--
We've been spending a lot of time in the studio finishing Sunset Shabbat, our first full-length album. We will debut it as a collaboration with Congregation Bet Haverim on Friday, June 21 at 7:30 PM (free and open to anyone).
We also filmed a reality show, "Wife Swap," airing May 16 on the Paramount Network. Here's my AJT pre-game blog post on that.
At Ahavath Achim synagogue the first Shabbat morning of every month, Michael leads Groove Shabbat (instrumental tot Shabbat target ages 0-4), and Bonnie co-leads Bimah Time (non-instrumental prayer experience target ages 4-8) along with Marni Goldman. Other Shabbats we are usually at Ahavath Achim in the morning attending services and "the Tish," a lively post-kiddush song and study experience led by our rabbis.
We will be leading sessions at two different events on the upcoming holiday of Shavuot on June 8--details TBD.
You can also catch Michael's public appearances such as at the Children's Museum where he performed with our three-year-old son; I perform regularly with the Congregation Bet Haverim choir.
